What is an international invoice?+
An international invoice records a sale where the supplier and customer are in different jurisdictions. It normally identifies both parties, the supply, currency, payment terms, tax registrations, tax treatment and any wording required for an export or reverse-charge transaction.
Can I create an invoice without making an account?+
Yes. Billr Invoice requires no login. The form, calculations, logo and PDF generation run in the browser session.
Does the generator automatically calculate VAT or GST?+
It provides an editable starting treatment based on origin, destination and whether the customer is a business or consumer. Product type, place-of-supply exceptions, registrations and evidence can change the result, so the guidance must be verified for the actual transaction.
What is a reverse-charge invoice?+
Under a reverse charge, the customer rather than the supplier accounts for the relevant VAT or GST. A qualifying invoice usually needs both parties' registration details and clear reverse-charge wording.
Can I invoice in a foreign currency?+
Yes. The generator supports common global currencies and formats the subtotal, tax and total consistently throughout the preview and PDF.
Does Billr Invoice support US sales tax?+
The tool flags US sales tax as a state and local review because the applicable obligation can depend on nexus, customer location, product taxability and exemptions. It does not pretend a country selection alone can determine the correct rate.
Are my bank and tax details uploaded?+
No. This version has no server action, account database or invoice API. Entered details are held in the page session and the PDF is produced on the device.
Is the tax guidance legal advice?+
No. It is educational guidance and an editable starting point. Check current official rules or obtain professional advice for the facts of an actual supply.
